New is the Sound Shaping Technology. Due to this new technology the EC2
SST heads feature a new muffle ring. It doesn't just look better, it also
sounds much better.
Due to this new technology the ring thickness and density are
much more consistent for each size drum head. Also the sound is much more
controlled or "pre-EQ'd" as Evans calls it.

During the Festival you will hear Steve Vai world premieres
including especially for the occasion composed work 'Expanding the
Universe'. Vai will perform twice with the North Netherlands Symphony
Orchestra (NNO) on October 22nd and 23rd. Later on in the week there is a
Vai-competition called 'Naked Tracks', and on Sunday 24th October a
documentary on the history of the electric guitar.

 We are very sad with the news that Paul Gray has passed away. Being one of the most essential Slipknot members he was a big name in the industry and we were proud to provide Paul with his personal Ibanez PGB1 and PGB2 Bass Guitars.

"Never give up on your dreams", John told the audience which consisted mostly of drummers. "While I was drum tech for Charlie Benante from Anthrax I would never have thought that I would one day be giving drumclinics in The Netherlands. But here I am!"

 Steve Gadd recently toured Europe with his successful 'Mission From Gadd'. The first couple of clinics, however, were cancelled due to the vulcanic ash cloud above Iceland. Now that Steve Gadd returns to finish the tour Adams saw an opportunity to get the legendary drummer for their Drumfestival on September 12th.

 Tuesday november 10th Hoshino Benelux hosted their first artist day for all Zildjian-endorsers in the Benelulx. This very succesful day was organised in cooperation with Zildjian and the Rockacademie in Tilburg.
Almost all Zildjian artists were able to attend and made this day not just very special but also very enjoyable. New Zildjian cymbals were tested, the Rockacademie served a delicous lunch and made this event a big succes for all attendees.
