The results of the Slagwerkkrant's 26th annual readers poll are in. TAMA, Zildjian and HQ are the big winners. With two number one awards TAMA Starclassic drums and Starphonic snares are on their way to become legendary. Leaving the competition far behind. Zildjian dominates the top 3 of best new cymbals with their new Z3's on number one and A/K Custom EFX cymbals on 3rd place. Also HQ's Eco Pads got awarded as number one in the category '
miscellaneous'.
Steve Gadd recently toured Europe with his successful 'Mission From Gadd'. The first couple of clinics, however, were cancelled due to the vulcanic ash cloud above Iceland. Now that Steve Gadd returns to finish the tour Adams saw an opportunity to get the legendary drummer for their Drumfestival on September 12th.

With their powerful sound they explore the possibilities of percussion. Sometimes extrovert and explosief. Sometimes soft, melodic and minimalistic but always fascinating for the audience.
Every year Hoshino sponsors the prestigious North Sea Jazz festival by providing Zildjian cymbals for all drumkits at the festival. With this big operation we proudly support this unique festival. This year there was a great line-up again which led to a huge amount of visitors. Not to our surprise because amongst the artists were: Stevie Wonder, Joss Stone, Herbie Hancock, and many, many more.
