Wednesday april 15th John Tempesta (Exodus, Testament, White Zombie, The Cult) started his European drum clinic tour in The Netherlands. A big crowd showed up to listen to John, his tight grooves, his experiences and his inspiring tips.
"Never give up on your dreams", John told the audience which consisted mostly of drummers. "While I was drum tech for Charlie Benante from Anthrax I would never have thought that I would one day be giving drumclinics in The Netherlands. But here I am!"
John also shared some of his double bass drum exercises and handed them out on paper. In a question and answer session the audience got the opportunity to ask John questions which worked really well. On the question which bass drum pedals he uses, John answered: "Iron Cobra's. From TAMA. They're the best! I've been on a million tours and never broke even one of them!"
